June 26, 2015 - Drive to Madrid

The drive into Madrid went much smoother than I thought.  We only got one recalculating from the gps.  I think the worst part for Roger was parking in the parking garage.  We rented a van and the garage is made more for the little cars.

We are staying at the Hotel Ganivet, which we booked through Hotwire.

They emboss the toilet paper.

We set out to explore Madrid after lunch.  We went to Plaza Mayor.

They had these costumes out for people to take pictures with

The guy in the green shirt came running from the shade because of course if you want to take a picture it will cost you.

I just turned and took this picture instead.

We thought these little girl shoes were so cute, but I can't imagine a little girl walking in them.
