July 2, 2015 - Drive to Granada, Spain

So while Roger was showering Elaine, Fred and I headed out to find breakfast.  So we found this little cafe and set outside and Elaine and I had hot chocolate and Fred had his coffee.  Each of us had a lovely cup.  We did get Roger a coffee to go.
Roger and I then headed off to pick up the car at the best deal in town parking lot, 1 Euro a day.  Then started the adventure of getting back to the hotel.
I had to take a picture of the acquaduct so Uncle Freddie could see what the inside looked like.

After a few redirections we were able to get back to the hotel area.  This is how they get the kids to stay together here.  Well once the kids crossed the street we had two cars come from the direction we needed to go and as you see there is not enough room for two cars so we and the car behind us had to back up.

These are just some of the sights that we saw from the car.

We love their warning signs.
White Towns
You can not begin to imagine how many olive trees that we have seen.  We can not figure out how they can harvest all of them.

We are not sure how we made it through these little streets that the gps sent us through.  The big street in the direction we needed to go is only for buses and taxis.
We stayed at the Granada Five Senses.  When we set off for Granada we only had reservations for the 3rd but I had checked online and it looked like they had openings for the 2nd.  I didn't try rebooking because the price had gone up since I had booked before leaving home.  They charged us the same price as my original booking price for both nights.  The front desk was very helpful.
The hotel was very modern and our night stand were lighted cubes.  The only problem that we had here was that the second night I was awakend by the dripping sound of water that was coming from the condensation of the air-conditioner.
Granadas street lamps were really cool.
We had dinner and then headed back to the hotel thinking we would go for a swim in the pool only to find out that the pool isn't much bigger than a bathtub.  Oh well we just called it an early night.
