This morning we headed to the La Boqueria.
Even somethings you might not think of.
I had clipped an article out of the Afar June/July 2014 magazine by Jeff Koehler titled Spain's Sweet Spot, which is why I knew about chocolate con churros. Today I tried his recommendation at Granja M. Viader. I did like his recommendation but next time I will not order the cream. Just so you know this is not sweet.
It opened in 1870. The family that currently manages it has had it for five generations since 1904.
We then headed back to the red bus to the Sants train station.
We wanted to just check out the station since we have a morning train to Paris on Saturday and just wanted to get the lay of the land.
Glad we did to, because we had no idea how big the station was and that we would have to go through security. It didn't seem that the security lines were moving all that fast either so we may be showing up a little earlier.
While there Roger said he got the most entertainment for .50. He needed to use the restroom and when you flush, the seat turns and gets washed and squeegeed.
Our next stop we visited from the bus was at the National Art Museum of Catalunya. We decided to take in the sites from the vista.
Fred found some jewels for Elaine.
Does this mean that if you fall in you will be electrocuted.
Back on the bus we decided to get off at the wharf area and check out all the fancy boats and yacht's ported there. You can buy this sailing yacht for the bargain price of $75 million since they reduced it from $95 million. Or you could charter it for the week $450,000. But you better act quickly because Fred said he was going to buy it.
