We took the metro to the Sants train station to go back to the Sixt rental car company because Fred realized that he had left his coat in the van. No one turned it in to lost and found. On the metro we met a young lady from Turlock, California. She is a contractor and is taking a break from work and living here for a little while.
After we left the rental car agency Fred and Elaine headed back towards home while Roger and I headed towards the Arena de Barcelona, which is a huge mall, but before we reached there I found a place that I could get a manicure at a reasonable price. So as Roger says, I wasted an hour of his time that he will never get back. I wish though that I would have waited until be got to the Arena because they had a place a little more like home that I could have gotten them done and Roger could have kept himself busy looking around.
We walked around each floor of the mall and then ended up at the top. You know that Roger really wanted the picture if he walked across this glass platform.
There are great views from up on top. I am sure there are even better ones from the Templo del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús & Tibidabo.
I love these roof top apartments but I don't think I would want one this close to the mall where strangers would be looking in all the time.
We walked down the Grand Via towards home.
We made a quick stop at la Boqueria to pick up a little snack.
We walked a different path and came out into a big square with these two buildings.
Since this is our last evening here Elaine and I just went walking through the different walkways by the apartment. There are so many interesting little shops and restaurants to see. This was a vintage shop. I had to take a picture of this jean dress. I can't even imagine how heavy it would be .
I can't wait to come back next year. I love Barcelona!
