June 25, 2015 - Drive from Santiago de Compostela to Segovia

We had no idea when we started on this journey where we would be staying before arriving in Madrid on the 26th.  We are really glad that we picked Segovia and the Don Jaime Hostal.

 Our receptionist Rosanna was very sweet and helpful.

 The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable, and for 35 Euros, very affordable.

 It was also in a great location by the aqueduct.  For Freddy it was great because right around the corner was not only McDonald's but Burger King also.

It had been a long day driving but we wanted to explore some of the town before calling it a night.

 It is especially magical to walk around after the sun sets.

As we were meandering up the street we came out into the plaza to find a concert about to start.

Of course we had to get some gelato before heading back to the hotel.  

What a way to spend the evening with the man I love.
