As we were heading to the Rome metro station we saw this old Mini stationwagon.
We took the metro to the Hotel Deville stop. Looks like they may have had a big party here last night. While on the metro we had a couple of guys singing for tips. They were actually really good.
Then we walked about a block or so to the Pompidou.
This is about the best art at the place.
I wasn't sure if this was really a bunch of pigeons or if it was supposed to be an art piece until I finally saw a bird move.
These guys played some good music.
Roger loves going to museums, me I can take them or leave them and this is one of those types of museums I really wasn't sure I wanted to visit.
But then I saw that I could get a good view of the city from going up in the tubes to the top of the building.
Wish I could have had this view last night.
They call this art. I call it laziness that they didn't spread the seeds and left the bags in the rain so that they sprouted.
I have to admit that this one was pretty cool.
A world map done in clear glass marbles.
This one was pretty relaxing. As the arm spun one side made the rows in the sand and the other side flattened it back out.
Another view of the world in red light.
This is one you want to walk through. It is barbed wire spaced evenly apart.
I think they didn't want to take piano lessons anymore.
Let's just say I have been here and I do not need to come back again. I really think these people do to many drugs. I understand that a lot of other people enjoy and appreciate modern art but I am not one of them.
