July 5th

Today was going to be our relaxing day since we have been walking so much and it was until we decided to go to the Czech Folklore Dinner Show.  We heard that it was a good place to go see traditional dance and to have traditional Czech food. They would come and pick you up at your hotel, take you to the show and then bring you back.  Well the first problem is we are not staying at a hotel but there is a hotel across the street and a few doors down, so we walked over there and Mike asked them if we could book through them and she said yes but we had to pay her cash.  Second problem is we didn't have enough cash and we didn't really want to go and use the ATM for this.  So we decided to walk to the Folklore Garden.  Well this turned into another 3 hour tour (you know the song).  As you can see we started out all smiles.  I took advantage of the opportunity to take some pictures of Pam since she is always behind the camera.  We walked some of the same paths that we had done on previous walks but then we turned and went in unknown territory that we began to question again where our fearless tour guide was taking us.

And just when we were getting ready to call a mutiny low and behold there it was right around the river bend.

We shocked the lady that was working in the office because no one has ever walked there from town to make reservations.  She thought we were lying to her but once she realized we were telling her the truth she offered us some water which was quickly gulped down by all.  I am glad we did talk to her because we didn't need to pay at the hotel, we could pay the night of the dinner and with our credit card.  Well once we had refreshed ourselves we headed back to home.  Which didn't seem as bad because at least we knew where we were going.  Our feet on the other hand didn't like it one bit.

We were still smiling even on the way back.

We love the views from the bridges around town.

So our relaxing day included a 7 mile walk but at least today it was on more level ground.
