What A Send Off

Wow what great friends we have!  Last night we were invited over to our friends home for our last game night before we left.  We were greeted at the door by our hostess Cherie (Cheryl) and ushered to our table where we were seated and given our Italian menus and told to pick 4 items for each of the four courses.  Our menus were picked up by our wonderful servers, Davido (Wing), Daveno (Dave) & Karina (Karen).  Ruggiero (Roger) received with his first course a fork, spoon, knife & butter.  Michele (Mike) got pistachio gellato, toothpick, napkin, and water. Pamelia (Pam) got caramel gellato, a fork, bread, and water. I (Dianora) got a glass of water, an Italian Raspberry soda, lasagna & bread. Needless to say we laughed very hard and while our waiters were getting their personal first course together we were planning our appreciation dinner for them when we get back.  The dinner was wonderful full of great food but more importantly lots of laughs with our wonderful friends that we are truly blessed to have followed by a fun filled game night.

    It was so much fun! We had a great time planning it too! We will miss you guys very much but we know you will have a wonderful trip. We'll be looking forward to your return and introducing you to our "new friends"!

    I agree with Cheryl! We hope your dining experiences are much less of a surprise - although you know you can eat anything as long as you have a toothpick! Can't wait for pictures and stories along the way! Not quite sure if we will be able to make the "appreciation" dinner . . . I guess it all depends on our "new friends"!
