We arrived in West Kensington and then had to walk about a half to ¾ of a mile to our hotel.  We checked in dropped our bags and got ready to head out.  We caught the city bus and headed to Kensington Park.  It was already 3:00 pm London time (7:00 am CA time) which didn’t leave us much time to go into any of the site-seeing type places.  We did go into Kensington Palace, which they are totally remodeling to make it more kid friendly and tells about all the princesses that have lived there.  The last time we were there it was all about Diana.  (We later found out that Kate was there later that evening for an event.)
