12/21/20012 Hump Bar

Today we headed into Charleston to do some shopping and to get my nails done.  First we met Christine at Forever 21 to look for a dress for the cruise but were not able to find one.  She left us from there to go back and wait for Brad to get finished with school and Amanda and I continued on to visit a few more shops.  We decided to find someplace for lunch.  We found a BBQ place called Sticky Fingers.  They just happened to be celebrating their 20th anniversary.  We had pulled pork sandwiches and fries along with some warm bread pudding, ice-cream and anniversary cake.  We left there and walked back to the car to drop off Amanda's purchases before heading to my nail appointment.  We also picked up the gps so that we could find the shop so after walking a mile we finally found it.

The lady who did my nails is also a big fan of the show Army Wives, which Amanda & I also are big fans of and we were able to find out about locations for the Hump Bar and the houses that the families live in.  So after walking back to the car we headed out to find the Hump Bar.  She told us that there was a restaurant called Santi's Mexican Restaurant, where you could get the best margarita. So we put that in our gps and turned on the street and would have missed it if it wasn't for the fact that we knew what it looked like because they take all the signage down when they are not filming.  Of course we still had to get out and take pictures.

After we were done we headed to the Tanger Outlet mall to meet back up with Christine and Brad.  After walking through and purchasing a few items we went to dinner at Chili's and then headed home.
