Sanger Cruiser Travel Log: Day of Shopping

Today was a day for shopping. First we went to the base ITT office hoping to purchase tickets for Universal Orlando only to find that they had sold all of their one day tickets on Friday.

Then we stopped at the commissary and purchased some groceries.

For the people that truly know us you know that we like to visit Costco's around the world. So here is a picture documenting another first time visit to Costco in Charleston. We had to purchase an inflatable bed because I couldn't handle the floor another night. Brad & Christine had borrowed their friends air mattress but it never held the air for long so I kept ending up laying on the floor.

We were very happy when we were able to purchase gas for only $2.94 a gallon also at Costco.

We drove to Sam's Club and met up with Christine after her appointment. We only purchased some Rum Chata there. We then jumped in Christine's car and drove to the NEX at the Air Force Base and tried to find their ITT office but found that their hours are different from the Navy ITT office so they were closed. So Christine took us back to our car and we headed home. There was an accident on the freeway so Amanda and I got off earlier than we were supposed to and we were glad we did because we went on one of our adventures and found a large round a bout that was totally decorated with lights. The other benefit was that we got home much faster and had unloaded the car, set up my new bed and got ready to take SoCo for another walk before Christine got home.

Our walk adventure turned out to not be so good for me as I face planted in the middle of the road because I was paying more attention to the yard decorations than to SoCo and she darted in front of me because she had gotten to close to Amanda's feet and got scared. I now have a scraped cheek, bloody knuckles a hurt wrist and finger. My glasses didn't fare well either so I will have to see if I can get a new pair quickly.
