January 5th - Heading Home

We did the self assist debarkation and was off the ship and at the airport in no time.  We could see the ship from our boarding area.  Our flight didn't leave until 11:30 but since they had free internet we spent the time reconnecting with those at home.

Why is it that unpacking means that the house is going to look like a tornado hit.

January 4th

This is a sad sad day.  Today we have to pack and say our farewells to our friends.  But if you have to pack could you ask for a better view?  I don't think so.

We played more games and won some trophies and medals.

We went to the farewell party and had a wonderful waitress that kept us full of drinks.  Afterwards we talked to our other Cruise Critic friends.

Here is some more pictures of food.

Of course we have to have a picture of our towel animals with our disco ball cups.  Looks like they are having a good time.

January 3rd - Fun at Sea

Today was all about fun.  Roger and Amanda played trivia.  Amanda and her friends played the bean bag toss game in the Atrium.

Did I say today was all about fun?  Maybe I meant it was all about food.  We ate lunch in the dinning room.

For the first time we had dinner in the steak house.  The only way we got reservations is because we were all platinum cruisers because they were totally booked.  They made time for us at 9:00pm.  I will say for a dinner that big you want to eat early not late.

January 2nd - Curcacao

We arrived early into Curacao.  The ship is ported in the middle of town.  You can cross over to the other side of the town by either walking across the floating bridge or taking the ferry.

We walked around the ship side of town first while we waited for the bridge to close.

                                                    Views from the bridge.

We walked around the town on the other side.

We road the ferry back across, where we parted ways with Roger as he wasn't feeling that great.

Amanda and I walked around and checked out some stores looking for some Curacao.  We found what we wanted to buy so we went back to the ship to get some bottles to switch it over to so that we could get it back on the ship without them confiscating it but realized afterwards we probably didn't really have to do that.  They didn't even check my bag that had the empty bottles in them.

We enjoyed standing out on the balcony and watched the beautiful buildings as we sailed away.
